The Great Race

The Great Race is definitely the latest craze in corporate events. Teams race in & around Jo'burg to find the venue without them knowing their final destination. Teams navigate their way to a new destination for each challenge. Facilitators run the events, keep time and keep track of teams as they advance through the custom designed route. The route is mapped out and clues are put together accordingly, a variety of interesting places are scouted & used as landmarks and / or pit stops. Here delegates will participate in various tasks and / or figure out cryptic clues before continuing with the journey. The delegates are pampered all the way in luxury air-conditioned vehicles using certified drivers and by our friendly facilitators who help and assist them throughout their quest. (Certain Companies prefer the less expensive option of providing their own vehicles) This is a team-build par excellence and delegates are normally refreshed and eager, on arrival to partake in the conference.

As you can imagine, the logistics for an event such as this can be a nightmare. Each and every route has to be planned and researched individually with the utmost care and consideration for the environment and places of interest we will visit on the journey.


Depending on the group size we strive to have at least two teams as a minimum. Although drinks and snacks are supplied as part of the race the delegates will have to find their cooler boxes on their own. (Normally the first stop)


We will endeavour to incorporate as many places of interest on the journey as is possible.


This event also allows for company logos, insignias, branding and banners to be utilised as route markers along the way or positioned as indicators at the pit stops.
